The traveling exhibit The Borscht Belt: Revisiting the Remains of America's Jewish Vacationland will open on August 11 at the Gershman Y Center for Arts and Culture in Philadelphia. The exhibit, which documents the dramatic decline of the resorts of New York’s Catskills region, will be on view in the Borowsky Gallery until November 18. At the Gershman, thirteen large-scale works from the series will be on view, including a selection of Borscht Belt ephemera from the artists personal collection. An official opening and book signing will take place on Thursday, October 13 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
